Upper Stirrup Shock Absorber

Developed to absorb part of the energy generated from direct pressure on the stirrup leathers through the stirrup loops. This primarily functions when landing after jumps, making the rider feel safer and more secure.

Lower Footbed Damping Part

Absorbs part of the energy generated when landing from an obstacle, and also provides stable and comfortable foot support in dressage and eventing. It also suits the needs of endurance riders, such as long-distance riding.

Adjustable Tilt

Considering riders' different preferences, the tilt of the stirrup footbed can be individually adjusted, allowing it to be set from classic (flat) to a tilt of up to 5 degrees.

Footbed Grip

The footbed is made of durable and highly wear-resistant composite. The spiked protrusions improve grip on the shoe sole and prevent the foot from slipping out of the stirrup. If the hard-wearing spikes wear out, you can send your pair of stirrups back to us, and we will replace the footbed with Winderen's new one :)

Technical Specifications

To achieve the correct stirrup weight, the metal frame is made of high-quality and durable aluminum. The footbed and protective parts are made of durable composite. This way, we achieved a weight of 560g / 1.24 lb per stirrup.

This weight was described as "appropriate" by most riders in tests. They are neither too light nor too heavy. Thanks to the right balance, they are almost unnoticeable.
