SERVICE PRICING

Please note the cancellation policy for stable visits!
We do mobile work, and therefore we hope that customers commit to the visit when signing up, as we often do not get a replacement customer quickly for an appointment/the visit may be canceled for other participants if there are acute absences from a longer trip.

Registration for agreed-upon appointments is thus always binding, and for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment, we charge 50% of the service price (including 50% of travel expenses); for no-shows, we charge 100% of the service price, including travel expenses. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are free of charge.

INDIVIDUAL CONSULTING ASSISTANCE

You can ask us for personalized help regarding bits, bit purchasing, feeding, blankets, or other equipment or horse health maintenance, for example.

We also support you in solving health problems and help direct you to the right expert service to resolve your horse's issues. If you can't find a solution on your own, you can ask us for consultation help, and we'll figure it out together! The expert is a trained equine health advisor and bit specialist.

Basic price = €60 / 45min phone appointment/work time via messages.

Possible product rentals or trials are charged separately according to agreement; the consultation price does not include the trial price of recommended products.

BIT FITTING

At your own stable.

Base price = 120€ + travel expenses
includes 1.5h fitting time and testing of 2-5 bits


Travel expenses are included in the base price within 20km of Kämmenniemi.

For distances over 20km from Kämmenniemi, we charge travel expenses in addition to the base price, according to the kilometers driven.

Fittings always include a check of your own bit, initial consultation, riding with 2-5 test bits, extended testing of the 2 best bits for 1 week, and a -10% discount on purchased bits.

Bridle fittings according to a separate price list, depending on how many models are fitted. Approximately 20-50€ additional cost to the basic fitting fee.

REMOTE VIDEO FITTING

During a video fitting, we conduct a 1.5-hour test ride together via video. This is perfect for those who live further away or have busy schedules, as fitting times can be easily arranged at any time of day. Evening and weekend appointments are also available.

Basic price = €135 incl. return postage of bits (starting March 1st)

The remote video fitting includes an initial consultation by phone/message, delivery of 4 bits to try via Matkahuolto, a 1.5-hour video fitting session e.g. via Facetime/Google Meet, notes on the bits tested, and a one-week follow-up trial. You will receive a 10% discount on any suitable bits purchased.

Bridle fittings are priced separately according to an agreed-upon schedule.

For the fitting, you will need someone to hold the phone for you and a working internet connection.

REMOTE CONSULTATION

You can purchase a consultation + trial package from us, meaning that by choosing this package, you will receive professional recommendations based on initial information for bits, materials, and rings to try, which you can then test independently at home. A professional will be available to support you via message if needed and can also analyze the functionality of different bits based on videos sent during the trial. This is excellent if you don't want to search for bit models to try on your own, or if you feel you don't have enough knowledge about bits and want an expert to help solve the problem.

With both packages, you get a 10% discount on bits when making a purchase.

LASER SERVICES

We provide laser treatments alongside fitting appointments or as a separate maintenance service for horses, people, and dogs.

For horses during a fitting, the need for laser treatment might include treating the corners of the mouth or the head area as part of bit fitting, or maintenance of an injured area/other body parts as a supportive treatment. We use a German 3B-class Biomedical spray laser, which makes it easy to effectively treat larger areas, such as the spine and large muscle groups.

Suggestions

1. Prices include VAT 25.5% and postage.

2. The rental period can be extended by a maximum of 2 weeks from the original rental period, for an additional fee (fees listed above).

3. Payment is made as an online store purchase, by card payment link, or by bank transfer before the products are dispatched. For consulting packages, payment is made using the same payment method before the consulting service is provided. 

4. Test bits are normally used and cleaned before testing. If the bits are returned in the middle of the rental period, no refund will be issued. We also do not issue refunds if a suitable bit is not found during testing. If we send a new bit, we will inform you if you can keep it directly at the end of the rental period. Without our confirmation, the bit cannot be kept directly. 

5. If the customer wishes to purchase the tested product, we will order a new product according to their wishes. If the bit or product in question is not available new, we will arrange the purchase separately depending on the situation. 

6. New products ordered for purchase must also be paid for before they are dispatched. After rental, you will receive a -10% discount on our online store, which will be applied when placing an order. 

7. If the bit/other product is damaged more than normal, has large abrasion or tooth marks, or is lost in the mail, this must be reported immediately to info@equiara.com. Equiara has the right to charge compensation for damage to the bit up to the purchase price of the bit. 

8. Rented bits must be dried with a towel after use to prevent immediate rusting. We will charge the customer separately for major rust damage after the rental if it occurred during the rental period. 

9. Products must be cleaned and returned in the same condition as they were, excluding normal wear and tear.

10. Damage to products entitles Equiara to invoice the full value of the product, depending on the extent of the damage.

11. Equiara is entitled to compensation if the products are returned in poor condition, i.e., they have not been dried and maintained properly according to the terms. 

12. If the bits are lost, you must notify us immediately so that we can contact the shipping company. You may not allow anyone to try the bits without Equiara EQ's permission. We will charge a penalty fee of €80 per bit for unauthorized sub-rental. 

13. If the rental terms are not complied with or payment is overdue, Equiara has the right not to send rented or purchased products until payment has been made. Bits and other products will not be reserved for the renter if the invoice is not paid by the due date – they will automatically become available for other rentals.

14. Bits must be returned by post to Equiara:
As a Matkahuolto return shipment, with number 9554495 - we do not accept returns via Posti!

15. A receipt must be requested for the shipment and, if requested, it must be provided to Equiara; the receipt must also be kept until the shipment has arrived at our premises.

16. The delivery time for a new bit or product varies and will be announced separately when ordering.

17. The suitability of purchasable, try-on, and rented products for the renter's horse is always based on an assessment, which is based on information provided by the manufacturer and the renter. Equiara is not responsible for unsuitability noticed later over a longer period of time / problems caused by a purchased bit. It is the customer's responsibility to monitor the suitability of the products during the test period and, if necessary, confirm it by asking Equiara.

18. If rented products are not returned to Equiara at the end of the rental period, Equiara will file a police report with the Finnish police, and the unreturned product must be paid for at a sum corresponding to its purchase price. Unpaid invoices will be sent for collection to KTI Laskutus Oy, from where they will be forwarded to the enforcement process.
