Retaining the characteristics of a standard arched tongue-relief mullen mouth, this version also includes integrated bit guards designed to stabilize the bit in the horse's mouth. This allows you to influence not only the jaw, tongue, and corners of the mouth but also the cheeks. Recommended for horses with: very sensitive corners of the mouth, horses that open their jaw and move it sideways during riding, and difficulty with turning.
