Winderen Long Swales Pelham Bit Cheeks

It is a modification of the traditional pelham, designed to better emulate the advantages of a curb bit. The cheek straps are attached directly to freely rotating bit rings, allowing us to interact with the mouthpiece as with a regular loose-ring bit and transfer pressure to the corners of the mouth. By using double reins, we apply pressure to the lower jaw. The intensity of the effect is regulated by the length of the shanks (short, medium, and long shanks are available) and the length of the curb chain. Can be used with two pairs of reins or a pelham delta.
Recommended for horses: very strong, pulling, rushing fences, carrying their head too low.
Recommended for riders: experienced riders who are aware of their hand movements.
