Combines the advantages of a Weymouth bit into a single bit. One shank has three rings: the upper ones are used to attach the cheek straps and also have hooks for attaching the curb chain; the middle rings are for attaching a second rein or a delta; and the bottom rings are for the second attachment of a delta or another rein. Its strength is determined by the length of the shank (short, medium, and long shank options are available) and the length of the curb chain. When using this bit, pressure is applied to the lower jaw and a stronger leverage effect to the poll. Can be used with two reins or a pelham delta.
Recommended for horses: strong, forward-going, easily excited in a competition atmosphere, unwilling to round.
Recommended for riders: experienced, aware of their hand movements.
