The Winderen pressure-equalizing stud girth is designed to significantly reduce pressure on the horse's sternum. The girth uses the same proven and technologically advanced materials as the popular pressure-equalizing half pads. Its anatomical shape features cut-out areas at the elbows and a wide surface area on the chest, making this girth a perfect solution even for sensitive horses. These features help to distribute pressure points on the horse's sternum and muscles, thereby improving the horse's freedom of movement, breathing, and overall comfort during riding.

During exercise, the horse's rib cage expands in all directions like an inflating balloon, and the girth presses on the sternum, sensitive muscles, and nerves. This increased pressure in the girth area can affect many processes in the horse's body and cause it to react nervously to girth tightening for many reasons, so it is of paramount importance to make the horse as comfortable as possible.

Excellent ergonomics and durability

The Winderen stud girth is anatomically shaped to fit the horse's structure. Softly finished cut-out areas at the elbows provide more space for elbow movement while offering additional comfort to the sensitive skin of the elbow. The wide girth shape helps to reduce point load pressure by distributing the force over a larger surface area. The elastic ends of the girth are positioned at different heights, with the front lower and the back higher. This improves the girth's adjustment to the horse's body and makes the saddle flaps fit better, increasing the rider's calf comfort and stability and allowing it to sit closer to the horse's body.

The padding of the girth with innovative materials not only reduces pressure on the horse's sternum, increasing freedom of movement and breathing, but also provides protection against external impacts, such as hitting a cross-country obstacle or the girth area being struck by the front legs when jumping. Functional fasteners

This hook can be easily pulled out from under a stylish leather flap for quick attachment of the breastplate. When not in use, it remains securely hidden under the overlying leather protector, preventing entanglement. Additionally, a large loop covered by a flap is attached above it, above the carabiner hook, for quick and secure attachment of auxiliary reins.
