VILLAge wool pads - Pony

Locally made in the Ostrobothnian countryside, VILLAge™ wool pads offer something soft and nourishing for your pony's legs. The wool pads are crafted from Finnish sheep's wool to ensure your pony performs well in the future.

The secret ingredient is lanolin, the natural fat found in wool. The pads improve circulation and reduce swelling. Wool naturally and effectively treats mud fever, scratches, and wounds—sometimes even in just a few nights. The sheep's wool comes directly from the vicinity of Koskenkorva in Ostrobothnia, a product of a female entrepreneur, and only Finnish sheep's wool is used in its production.

The best way to treat your pony with wool is to wrap it from the pastern to the knee with breathable, long bandages. Let the pads work their magic overnight. You can, of course, also use them during transport or other shorter periods; they are also suitable as stable wraps after training when you want to help your horse recover from exertion. Excellent for cold-heat therapy after cold hosing, for example.

By keeping the wool dry and clean, you ensure that the product lasts as long as possible, up to a month if the wraps are used daily. The less frequently the wool is used, the longer the lanolin will last in the pads. When you feel the lanolin is running out, you know it's time to replace the wool with a new pair. The product is 100% biodegradable and ecological – you can use the product, for example, for soil improvement or as nesting material for birds after use – or for any other ecological purpose; only imagination sets the limits.
