Fager Walter is suitable for horses that are stiff or slow in the hand, uneven in contact, or need more flexibility than a straight bit provides. The bit molds around the horse's mouth, creating even pressure and a soft, flexible feel in the hand. It often also works as a change bit for pressure-sensitive horses, or for show jumping instead of a normal three-piece bit, as a small speed-enhancing jumping bit. 

Sweet Iron material enhances the taste and encourages the horse to accept the bit naturally.

Fager Walter combines comfort, flexibility, and clear feel – an excellent choice for sensitive and young horses that need a soft but effective bit. Due to its multi-jointed nature, it is not allowed in dressage competitions, but it is allowed for show jumping and cross-country phases of eventing.

Choose a snug size for the bit – if you are between two sizes, opt for the smaller one so that the bit is sufficiently snug when there are multiple joints!
