The Fager Andrea Soft Rubber Bit is the perfect choice for horses that need a softer and gentler bit. It is ideal for sensitive or tense horses, as well as those who are just learning to trust the bit.

The mouthpiece, made of TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), combines the softness of rubber with a durable structure – offering a pleasant feel in the horse's mouth and a stable, yet gentle contact for the rider. The material is safe, does not absorb moisture, and is easy to keep clean.

Suitable for:
🐴 Young or green horses – encourages acceptance of the bit.
🐴 Horses that avoid or resist contact.
🐴 Horses with dry or reactive mouths – increases salivation and softness.
🐴 Horses in rehabilitation or retraining.
🐴 Horses that have difficulty relaxing with a curb bit, or if you want to teach a horse with a very soft curb.

• Available in two hardness levels:

  • Soft (light green) – for young and sensitive horses.

  • Hard (dark green) – a clearer aid for stronger horses.

• Only one thickness: 14mm in the middle and 16mm on the sides, shank length 5cm or 7cm

Please note:
TPU is durable, but horses that bite the bit strongly may still leave marks on it or break it. The material is not covered by warranty in cases where the bit is scratched or broken due to the horse's wear and tear. Store in a cool place; heat can alter the material and shape.
