The Fager Andrea Hard Rubber Bit is a perfect choice for horses that need a soft yet stable bit. It is ideal for young, sensitive, or tense horses, as well as those that are just learning to trust the bit. If you're looking for a really extra flexible bit - check out soft - hard flexes a bit, but not as much as soft.

The mouthpiece, made of TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), combines the softness of rubber with a durable structure – providing a pleasant feel in the horse's mouth and a stable yet gentle contact for the rider. The material is safe, does not absorb moisture, and is easy to keep clean.

Suitable for:
🐴 Young or green horses – encourages acceptance of the bit.
🐴 Horses that avoid or resist contact.
🐴 Horses with dry or reactive mouths – increases salivation and softness.
🐴 Horses in rehabilitation or re-training.
🐴 Can become strong at times, needing shortening, e.g., in jumping.

Please note:
TPU is durable, but horses that bite the bit strongly can still leave marks on it or break it. The material is not covered by warranty in such cases where the bit gets scratched or breaks due to wear by the horse. Store in a cool place; heat can alter the material and shape.
