Fager Maria is an excellent choice for horses that are sensitive to the tongue but occasionally strong, and may, for example, pull on the reins, play with their tongue, or resist a steady contact. Often suitable for horses that tend to have too much contact, rather than those that carry their heads high. Fully smooth joints and a small tongue relief reduce pressure and make the contact steady and pleasant.

Titanium is a lightweight, tasteless, and fast-warming metal that increases horse acceptance and gives the rider a light and quick feel in the hand.
Large loose rings provide stability and steerability without stiffness. Ring size 100mm.

Large loose rings

Fager Maria's large rotating rings provide slightly more stability and steerability than ordinary rings, but are not as rigid in their steerability as full-cheek bits. The loose rings move independently of the mouthpiece, which gives the horse the freedom to lift its tongue and seek appropriate pressure by moving the bit from the middle – an excellent option for stiff horses or those that easily become rigid in the mouth.
