Fager Marcus is an ideal choice if you would describe your horse as follows:

• Pulls on the bit, but overreacts to increased rein pressure.
• Easily gets wounds and chafing at the corners of the mouth.

Fager Marcus is a double-jointed, three-piece bit with tongue relief. The bits are designed so that their surface is 100% smooth, even around the joints. The joints are designed and manufactured so that they never press against the palate or unpleasantly hit the bar. The unique design results in a very comfortable and gentle bit that naturally adapts to the shape of the tongue. This bit has been particularly helpful for horses that are restless in the mouth, avoid contact, and also for horses just starting their ridden careers.

The straight, thin design improves rein aids and creates a straighter and more precise contact than ever before.

The Beval bit has a similar effect to a 2½ & 3-ring Olympic/Pessoa bit, but its effect is softer and the leverage is smaller. It gives a flexible, soft feel in the hand. The bit can be used in several different positions depending on the desired effect. The rein can be moved to several different places. It can also be used with a gag rein, as the gag rein can slide smoothly through the rings via the lower rings of the Beval bit.
