Fager John is an ideal choice if you would describe your horse as follows:

John is made 100% smooth throughout, including around the joints, to ensure maximum comfort for the horse.

The bit joints are cleverly designed so that they never press against the palate or create unpleasant sensations at the sides of the mouth. John is a very comfortable bit that naturally conforms around the horse's tongue.

This design is ideal for horses that very easily get sores or bruises. Our customers have found this bit to be very suitable, for example, for highly trained or truly sensitive horses, or for young horses for whom a "nothing extra" feel in the mouth is desired.
