Fager bits - Greta - Titanium - Loose ring

NOTE: Greta can be used in two ways: with tongue relief or without tongue relief, meaning the pressure is directed more towards the tongue.

With Tongue Relief - if you would describe your horse as:

• Uneven.
• Pulls away or up when you take the reins.
• Tries to put its tongue over the bit.
• Restless or dislikes any bit.

Turn the bit upside down, directing the pressure more towards the tongue - if you would describe your horse as:

• Uneven contact.
• Stiff or tense to ride.
• Grabs the bit, tries to pull it back.
• Does not seek contact with the bit.
• Drops contact.
• Goes behind the hand.

Greta is a durable and lightweight single-jointed titanium bit. The design is simple, unique, and crafted with the horse's ultimate comfort in mind. The entire bit surface, including the joints, is 100% smooth, allowing for perfect fluidity and freedom in the mouth.

Greta has an ideal design for horses with sensitive mouths that are prone to cuts, sores, or chafing.

The lightweight, straight design helps promote more precise and direct communication through the reins.

Fager designs bits to always sit horizontally straight; there is never a larger forward curve. This ensures the bit maintains the correct balance point (BP) in the mouth, creating stability and clear communication for the horse. When a bit has a larger forward curve, it also shifts the BP forward, adversely diminishing the effectiveness of the aids.

IMPORTANT: The balance point is maintained even if the bit flexes slightly upwards when used with tongue relief.
