Fager bits - Curb gag

The Fagerin Curb Gag strap is easy to attach and detach, making it a practical tool for varied training.

The curb gag differs from a regular gag in that the pressure is distributed under the chin instead of the poll. This makes it an excellent option especially for horses that can be too long and heavy in front or easily stay in a low frame.

Usage recommendation:

We recommend using two reins (also mandatory in competition rules in Finland with this strap):

• one attached to the bit

• the other to the curb gag strap

This allows the rider to fine-tune the effect according to the horse's needs and maintain a light, flexible feel.
